Celebrate All-American Homestand with the Hooks
CORPUS CHRISTI – Yes, it’s been hot as a firecracker in the Coastal Bend… but you can catch those cool coastal breezes each night at Whataburger Field as the Hooks settle in for six games against Tulsa and Northwest Arkansas of the Texas League North.
Thursday, July 2, Drillers @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30) - Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes. - Family 4-Packs at the box office are $44 for reserved seats and $28 for GA (berm seating). 4-Packs are comprised of four tickets, four hot dogs and four small sodas. You can step up as well by giving blood between 5-8 and picking up two free GA tickets, plus a Hooks road cap. The studio is adjacent to the main ballpark gates. All participants receive two GA tickets to the game. Hooks Idol is presented by Oldies 93.9. Oldies 93.9 personality Jesse DeLeon begins a remote broadcast at 4 o’clock. - Many believe the 1980s were characterized by an unprecedented level of individual self-absorption.
