After every Hooks win, a white flag with Whataburger’s trademark orange “W” will be raised over the batter’s eye in straightaway center field.  At night, lights illuminate the flag so motorists and pedestrians on surrounding streets know the outcome of the previous night’s game.  Drivers traveling over Corpus Christi’s signature Harbor Bridge have a great view of the flag’s position.

Register online and win the opportunity to raise the flag, along with Rusty and Sammy, should the Hooks win on Wednesdays, which are Whataburger Fan Days at the ballpark. Wednesdays on the 2009 schedule include May 6 (Midland), May 13 (Frisco), May 27 (Arkansas), June 10 (Midland), June 24 (San Antonio), August 12 (Arkansas) and August 26 (Midland).

The drawing closes at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and participants must register each week.

In addition to the potential flag-raising opportunity, contest winners receive four front-row seats and Whataburger meals for four and a Nolan Hall-of-Fame Replica Plaque.

The grand prize winner gets four front-row tickets to the Hooks’ final home game vs. San Antonio September 7 and Whataburger for an entire year.
