Adam Nuse, who began his career in professional baseball as an intern with the 2001 Round Rock Express, enters his first season as vice president of the Corpus Christi Hooks.
Nuse was Hooks director of group sales from October 2006 until May. He returned to the Sparkling City after five months in Memphis with Tiger Sports Properties, a division of Learfield Communications.
An inaugural season member of the Hooks front-office staff, Nuse joined the club for the first time in August of 2004 as account executive. When Matt Rogers moved from director of group sales to communications lead after the 2006 Texas League championship campaign, Nuse succeeded him. After chief sales and marketing officer Ken Schrom replaced Ryan Sanders Executive Vice President J.J. Gottsch as team president in September, the company quickly moved to bring Nuse back into the fold.
Both Adam and his wife Sarah are graduates of the University of Oklahoma. Nuse graduated in 2003 with a BBA in Marketing. In 2004, Nuse received his Master’s degree in Sports Administration at Wichita State University, where he also worked in the Shockers’ athletic department as a marketing associate and group sales coordinator.
Originally from Round Rock, Nuse enjoys spending time with his infant daughter, Lucy, as well as his family and friends and dog, Wrigley. Nuse currently sits on the board of directors for the USO of South Texas and Red Cross. He is also member of the Bay Area Fellowship Church in Corpus Christi.
