Elisa Macias
Director of Sponsor Services
Elisa enters her sixth season and seventh year of professional baseball in 2008, all with the Ryan-Sanders group.
Her career as a minor league executive began in 2003, when she served as the Director of Community Relations for the Round Rock Express. Macias was one of the first individuals hired by the club, as she helped to open Corpus Christi Baseball’s front office in November of 2003.
In addition to her responsibilities as Director of Sponsor Services, Elisa is responsible for coordinating charity events, player and mascot appearances, donation requests and guest speaker appearances. She also functions as a sales executive and monitors account activity for all clients. Her varied duties include acting as a liaison between the Hooks and numerous businesses and organizations in and around Corpus Christi. She also assists in making team travel arrangements and helps with player housing issues.
A graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin where she received a degree in Language Arts with an emphasis in Elementary Education, Elisa has experience in the fields of education, construction and government. A true native Texan, Macias was born in Beaumont and has lived in and/or worked in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Round Rock, San Antonio and now Corpus Christi, where she also lived for five years while in elementary school and junior high.
In her spare time (spare time?), Elisa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family
